The Substance
Abuse Prevention and Health Enhancement (SAPHE) Office
SAPHE,
part of the Office of Student Affairs, was established in 1998 to support healthy
lifestyle choices by providing resources, education, and counseling to undergraduate
and graduate students.
The
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Resource Center
Established
in 2001, the LGBT center provides education, advocacy, support,
and a safe communal space for students.
The
Office of Disability Services
This
office, established in 2000, works to make the learning environment
more welcoming to students with disabilities and ensures that
the University is in full compliance with the Rehabilitation
Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Today nearly one-quarter of SU students are people of
color or of non-U.S. citizenship, a significant increase over
the profile of 10 years ago.
