Film Festival showcases influential movies from around the globe

On the Cover: Still from Little Heroes, an Israeli film featured at the 2007 Syracuse International Film Festival. One of the first children’s films made in Israel, Little Heroes is about four children from different backgrounds who set out on a wilderness adventure to save some injured people. The film, directed by Itai Lev, offers a glimpse of the Israeli reality, while emphasizing the commonalities of children worldwide and showing how they can be heroes and make a difference.
